Rosana Chinchilla

Educated at the Fashion Institute of Technology and working as an illustrator/editorial artist in New York City for the last 35 years, Rosana’s commissioned paintings are in private collections in the United States, Germany, Paris and Guatemala. 

Her most recent Book Cover Art has appeared on behalf of “Pendragon Press”, “Unión Typography Press”, “ Museo Popol Vuh”, “Academia de Geografía e Historia de Guatemala”, “Ministerio de Cultura de Guatemala”, “Universidad de San Carlos de Guatemala”, and Coopers & Lybrand.

Her work was exhibited in Society of Illustrators New York, The National Arts Club, the 27th,28th,29th Roundtable, The Arts Project Dune Fund.

In 2024 Rosana contributed a painting to the publication of “Safe/Haven” to The Cherry Grove Archives Collection Inc.

She is currently accepting commissions in acrylics and watercolor.
